Coach Ben Umbreit
Coach Umbreit is the coach for the Savannah Masters. He is usually on deck for practices on M/W/F.

Coach Umbreit was a year round swimmer from age 7 to 18 before being recruited to swim at the University of New Mexico. After college he coached on and off for years at many different levels before deciding to coach full time in 2017. Along with coaching the Savannah Masters, he is the head site coach for GCAT in Richmond Hill and a community coach for the Richmond Hill High School team.
Coach Bill Forrester
Coach Forrester is an Olympic bronze medal winner in the 200 fly at the 1976 summer Olympics in Montreal. He is the head coach for Georgia Coastal Aquatic Team (GCAT). He coaches the Savannah Masters team on an occasional basis when Coach Umbreit is out.
Coach Walt Weed
Coach Weed was the dedicated coach for the Savannah Masters for many years. He also coached the younger GCAT swimmers. He passed away on Friday, January 18, 2019. He was a retired member of the U.S. Navy. He had professional swimming experience and experience coaching different age groups. We will all miss Coach Walt.
